Star Phoenix PBA Players For 2024 Season:

Here are the brief introductions of the star players belonging to the Phoenix basketball franchise for all the competitions of PBA in 2023-24.

RJ Jazul

The most important player among the top Phoenix PBA Players is the captain of the side, RJ Jazul who wears jersey number 13. Jazul can play two different positions for the team and usually serves as a point guard and shooting guard. During his college years, Jazul was a vital part of the Letran Knights team that clinched the NCAA title in 2005.

Jazul's journey in the PBA began when he was drafted 11th overall in the 2010 draft by the Alaska Aces, and eventually traded to the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. Throughout his career, he has shown his basketball skills and won a PBA championship in 2013 and earned the prestigious Mr. Quality Minutes award in 2020.

Jason Perkins

Among the top Phoenix PBA players, Jason Perkins is definitely a contender who plays a power forward for the team in the PBA. He represents the Phoenix Fuel Masters and wears jersey number 3.

Perkins has achieved great success in his career and has won the PBA Rookie of the Year award in 2018 and he also registered his place in the PBA All-Rookie Team the same year. His college career in basketball was also impressive as he won two UAAP championships with De La Salle University and was named to the UAAP Mythical Five in 2013.

Javee Mocon

Javee Mocon is a famous basketballer who is currently representing the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the PBA and wears jersey number 7 and usually plays as a small forward for the team.

Mocon has achieved significant success throughout his career and this includes winning four NCAA Philippines championships with San Beda University and being named the NCAA Philippines Finals Most Valuable Player in 2018.

Now, talking about his professional career, Mocon used to play for the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters before joining the Phoenix Super LPG team.

RR Garcia

RR Garcia is a popular professional Filipino basketballer who is currently playing for the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the PBA. He plays exceptionally well at both the point guard and shooting guard positions.

Garcia's basketball journey began in high school at Southern City Colleges, where he stood out and earned the MVP award.

In his career at the PBA, Garcia has represented many teams that includes GlobalPort Batang Pier, Barako Bull Energy, Star Hotshots, San Miguel Beermen, TNT KaTropa, and now, the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters. Besides this, he has won many individual awards like three-time PBA All-Star and winning a PBA championship with the San Miguel Beermen in the 2016-17 Philippine Cup.

Garcia has also represented the Philippines at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games basketball tournament and won a gold medal.

Sean Paul Dabu Manganti

Sean Manganti is among the top Phoenix PBA players who play as a small forward for Phoenix Fuel Masters in the PBA. Manganti adopted his basketball career in his college days at the University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) in 2013 and then he moved to Adamson University in the Philippines in 2016.

NorthPort Batang Pier selected him as the eighth overall pick in the first round of the 2019 PBA Draft and later on November 5, 2021, Manganti was traded to the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters and currently plays for this team.

As of the end of the 2022-23 season, Manganti has a career average of 16.9 minutes per game, with a field-goal percentage of .381, a three-point percentage of .299, and a free-throw percentage of .707.
