Kevin Barkley Ebona
Among the top Converge PBA Players, the first player whose name comes to mind is Kevin Ebona. He was born on November 29, 1996, and currently plays the position of Power Forward/Center for the Converge FiberXers in the 2023-24 season of the PBA.
Ebona started playing during his college days at Far Eastern University and helped the team win the UAAP championship in 2015. Later on, he was drafted as the fourth overall pick by the Alaska Aces in the 2019 PBA draft.
In the debut season, he played very well and was named to the PBA All-Rookie Team in 2020. He later played for the Blackwater Bossing before being traded to the Converge FiberXers in January 2023.
Justin Arana
Justin Arana is a professional basketballer who plays for the Converge FiberXers in the position of Centre. The 24-year-old basketballer has made a great name for himself due to his hard work and skills on the court.
At the start, Arana played for the UST Growling Tigers in his college days but faced challenges due to a heart condition. Later on, he played for Arellano University and earned the recognition of NCAA Rookie of the Year and earned selections to the NCAA Mythical and All-Defensive Teams.
In 2022, Converge FiberXers picked Arana in the PBA Drafts as the 4th overall pick and in the very first season, he was remarkable with ball in hand. He is definitely going to be the next superstar of the Converge FiberXers and the PBA.
Kevin Kent Relato Racal
The next on the list of Star Converge PBA Players is Kevin Racal who was born on May 16, 1991. He is a professional basketballer and plays for Converge team at the position of small Forward.
At Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Racal was a key player for the Knights and he played a key role in Letran's championship win in 2015. His professional career in basketball started when the Alaska Aces picked him up in the first round of the 2015 PBA draft. Throughout his career with the Aces, he was a reliable scorer and defender despite facing injuries.
In 2022, Racal joined the Converge FiberXers and continued his professional basketball career in the PBA with a new franchise.
Now, if we talk about his personal life, Kevin Racal married his long-time partner, Sarah Ramirez, in 2020, and they have two daughters together.
John Adrian Abando Wong
Abando Wong is a Filipino-American pro basketballer who plays as a shooting guard in the PBA competitions and is among the top Converge PBA Players for season 2023-24. Wong actually started his basketball career in Euless, Texas, where he used to play for his Trinity High School and then kept on playing this sport at the University level at Ateneo de Manila University.
During his university days in Ateneo, Wong played a key role in winning two UAAP championships in 2018 and 2019. The PBA teams saw his talent and then he was selected as the 5th overall pick by the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in the 2019 draft. Wong spent three seasons with Rain or Shine before joining the Magnolia Hotshots in 2022.
After one year, he signed for Converge FiberXers and is considered a key player for the team in the upcoming years.
