Terrafirma Dyip or in short Terrafirma is a Professional Basketball team that plays in the Philippines Basketball Association league competitions. This team debuted in the 2014 season of the PBA League and has gone through various names due to different sponsors. This team has been unable to win the PBA Championship despite so many changes and top players. This blog will analyze the PBA Terrafirma Dyip team owners and fan support, alongside their current roster, team management & coaching staff, and recent performance in the PBA competitions for the last few years.

PBA Terrafirma Profile: New Plan toward 2024 Championship

Terrafirma Dyip Team Overview:

Terrafirma Dyip started its journey in the League when the PBA announced the expansion of teams in the competition. There were three major shareholders of this team which included Manila North Tollways Corporation, Columbian Autocar Corporation, and Ever Bilena Cosmetics, Inc.

Currently, this team has three co-owners Terrafirma Realty Development Corporation, Mahindra, and Columbian. Therefore, multiple ownerships led to different names of this team in each season. Kia Sorento (2014-15), Kia Carnival (2015), Mahindra Enforcer (2015-16), Mahindra Floodbuster (2016-17), Kia Picanto (2017-18), Columbian Dyip (2018-2020), and Terrafirma Dyip (2020-present) are the different names of this particular team.

The management of this team announced Manny Pacquiao as the head coach for the season 2014-15 and this was quite shocking as Manny was a professional boxer and coaching a basketball team sounded terrible. The amazing part is during his tenure with the team, Terrafirma played their best basketball in the PBA League. Terrafirma Dyip wears sports jerseys having colors like Green, Grey, Navy Blue, and White.

Fans Support for the PBA Terrafirma Dyip team:

Considering the recent run of the Terrafirma Dyip team in all major competitions like The Commissioner’s Cup, The Governor’s Cup, and The Philippine Cup over the past 5 years, Terrafirma seems to be losing all its fans anytime soon. This team has been finishing in the last position on the points table of these competitions which makes the fans really disappointed.

This performance never means it does not have any fan following. Terrafirma has a good fanbase established in the Philippines and fans appear in numbers to watch their match in arenas. However, Terrafirma Dyip needs to perform way above their weight and potential to bring some happiness to the faces of their fans.  If you are interested in PBA news about teams, you can read other articles in All PBA Results of this blog.

Terrfirma Dyip Achievements in the PBA:

Terrafirma debuted in the PBA League in the 2014-15 season and their performance in the competition has been quite disappointing as they have reached the playoff stage only once during Manny Pacquaio's stint as head coach from 2014 to 2017. Many top players have been part of this team but they could not win any competition for their team and fans.

This year PBA Terrafirma Dyip would have devised certain plans and looking forward to executing them in the PBA Championships. The fans of this franchise would be excited to see their team doing well and win their maiden championship.
