Here are the brief introductions of the star players belonging to the TNT basketball franchise for all the competitions of PBA in 2023-24.
Kelly Williams:
First name among the top TNT PBA players is, Kelly Williams who is a Filipino-American basketball player who was born on February 7, 1982, in Detroit, Michigan. Williams played college basketball at Oakland University, where he later joined the PBA in 2006 after being drafted first overall by the Sta. Lucia Realtors. His debut season was outstanding and he also won the Rookie of the Year honor. He later played for the TNT Tropang Giga.
Throughout his PBA career, Williams achieved many championships, and MVP awards, and represented the Philippines in international competitions. While he was achieving so much playing for the country and franchise, he went through health issues like thrombocytopenia that impacted his playing time and performance. Therefore, Williams retired from basketball in 2020 but he returned to play for TNT in 2021 and signed a two-year deal.
Carl Bryan Cruz:
Carl Bryan Cruz is a Filipino basketball player who plays as a power forward for the TNT Tropang Giga in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He was born on August 21, 1991, in Manila, Philippines.
Cruz started his professional career after being chosen in the special draft of the 2016 PBA draft by the Alaska Aces. He has also played for the Blackwater Elite before joining TNT Tropang Giga.
Since his career at TNT, he has emerged as a great player and is usually known for his outstanding statistics and versatility. He has contributed a lot in the success of the team over the years and that is why he has been a part of the PBA All-Star team twice.
Jayson Castro William
Jayson Castro William who is also known as "The Blur," is a Filipino basketball star and a key TNT PBA players who currently plays for TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA 2023-24. He started his journey from Don Honorio Ventura State University and later attended the Philippine Christian University. Castro has won eight PBA championships and multiple MVP titles in his career in the Philippines Basketball Association competitions.
His exceptional speed and playmaking abilities have contributed a lot to his success in the PBA and in international tournaments such as the FIBA Asia Championship.
Ryan Jay Reyes
Ryan Jay Reyes or people often call him "D-Energizer," is a Filipino-American basketball player who plays for TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA. He was drafted third overall by the Sta. Lucia Realtors in 2007. Reyes has a dynamic playing style and has earned awards such as the PBA Rookie of the Year in 2008.
Since joining TNT Tropang Giga in 2010, he has continued to excel and played a key role in 7 PBA championship victories. Reyes is popular because of his energy and passion for this beautiful sport.
