On the other hand, the NorthPort Batang Pier is in the ninth spot with a 3-7 win-loss record and is currently competing against the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters for the last place in the quarterfinals.

If the NorthPort Batang Pier defies the odds and wins their match against the TNT Tropang Giga, it would trigger a do-or-die game between them and the Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters for the eighth and final spot.
